Deferred payments with debit cards

Card payments without a connection to the cardholder’s bank, for example during a flight or telecom outage. The payment is then stored on the payment terminal and forwarded and processed later, as soon as the connection to banks is restored. Not to be confused with ‘offline payments with debit cards’.
